INFRACHIP joins RICH EUROPE: Strengthening Semiconductor Research
We are excited to share that INFRACHIP has officially joined the RICH EUROPE project. This collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing the European semiconductor research landscape.
What is RICH EUROPE?
RICH Europe is an 84-month Coordination and Support Action built on the experience and achievements of the Research Infrastructures Networks funded under H2020 (RICH and RICH-2). The overall aim of the project is to improve and support the professionalisation and harmonisation of Research Infrastructures National Contact Points (NCPs) services across Europe and to contribute to the consolidation of the European research infrastructure ecosystem.
Why is joining RICH EUROPE important for INFRACHIP?
By joining the RICH EUROPE network, INFRACHIP will gain greater visibility and easier access to a broader community of researchers and innovators. This means more opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
This partnership will help speed up the transfer of semiconductor research from the lab to real-world applications. By linking INFRACHIP’s advanced infrastructure with RICH EUROPE’s extensive network of innovation hubs, we can shorten the path from research to practical use.
The collaboration also opens up new opportunities for joint training and skill development programs. This will support the growth of a highly skilled workforce and help address the semiconductor talent gap in Europe.
Looking ahead
Together, INFRACHIP and RICH EUROPE will work to strengthen Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem. This partnership will make it easier for researchers, startups, and companies to collaborate, innovate, and contribute to the continent’s green and digital transition.
