Research Accelerator Programme at Tyndall in March! – Integrated Power and Energy Systems
Tyndall National Institute is preparing a short training for six successful applicants: a Research accelerator Programme on “Integrated Power and Energy Systems”, on March 5-7th 2025, at its facility in Cork, Ireland.
The RAP, a 2-3 days immersive experience at the INFRACHIP access providers, gives PhD students and early-career researchers (2 years after the PhD) an overview of the technology accessible through INFRACHIP on a given thematic and location. The successful participants will follow lectures, lab tours and do some hands-on experiments with the local staff and experts. A great opportunity to enlarge your knowledge on a topic and discover cutting-edge technology!
Through this RAP, successful applicants will get an understanding of aspects of Integrated Power and Energy Systems research work that is being carried out by various research groups at Tyndall National Institute. They will understand the technology of MEMS, Energy harvesting and storage and get an overview of integrated magnetics research.
Participants will also be introduced to another programme – RISEnergy – from the European Commission, which offers free access to infrastructure for energy systems.
Applications are open until December 3rd 2024.
EU funds are used to cover most of the applicants expenses (accommodation, subsistence and travel).
Applicants based in Ireland or in one of the INFRACHIP consortium partners will not be considered?
